Description

Fourth Lock Bridge is a canal bridge located on the Leeds - Liverpool Canal, built in 1816. It is constructed of stone and features a semi-circular arch with a keystone, which spans the upper entrance approach to the fourth lock in a series of seven locks. The bridge has buttressed piers, decorative bands, and parapets with flat coping.
