Description

Old Cross is a stone cross erected in 1793 by the constables to replace an earlier structure. It features a moulded plinth, a square base, and a tapering square shaft topped with a fern-leaved sphere. The shaft is inscribed with the names of the constables: "Erected by Thos. Walker, John Knight, Robert Lees, Constables 1793."
