Description

The Rectory to the Church of St Elisabeth was built in 1874 and designed by the architect Alfred Waterhouse. This Gothic-style building is two storeys high, constructed from red brick with stone dressings and a tiled roof. It features sash windows, a Gothic porch, gables, and dormer windows. The rectory is part of the industrial community developed by Sir William Houldsworth, which also includes the Houldsworth School and the Church and Men's Club located on Leamington Road. The rectory, along with the school and wall, forms a group with the Church of St Elisabeth and the Houldsworth Working Men's Club.
