Description

Number 9 bridge on the Peak Forest Canal is an accommodation bridge built between 1794 and 1801, designed by engineers Benjamin Outram and Thomas Brown. The bridge is constructed of dressed stone and features a semi-elliptical arch. It has a projecting band and concave retaining and parapet walls, which are topped with rounded copings and end in square piers.
