Description

The sundial, located in the churchyard of the Church of St Wilfrid in Northenden, Manchester, dates from the 18th century and is made of sandstone. It features a circular base and a vase-shaped pedestal that has spiral gadrooning at the base, a decorated neck, and a moulded rim at the top. The plate and gnomon are missing, and the sundial is surrounded by tall iron railings.
