Description

Fraser's Statue, located in Albert Square, Manchester, is a Grade II listed statue commemorating James Fraser, who was the Bishop of Manchester from 1818 to 1885. The statue was created in 1888 by the sculptor Thomas Woolner. It features a bronze statue of a standing figure mounted on a polished marble or possibly granite pedestal. The square pedestal has a broad moulded plinth and includes bronze relief panels on three sides, topped with a prominent moulded cornice.
