Description

No. 38 on Church Lane is an 18th-century building made of brown brick. It stands three storeys tall and features three windows: sash windows on the ground and first floors, with one sash window on the left of the first floor that has glazing bars, and sliding casements on the second floor. The building has a wooden cornice supported by ogee brackets and is topped with a slate roof. On the right-hand side of the building, there is a tablet displaying the name "Church Inn" in Gothic letters, which may date from the mid-19th century. This building is adjacent to the Church Inn.
