Description
Eaton Hall Cottages, built in the 1870s for the 1st Duke of Westminster, are a group of four attached cottages, likely designed by Alfred Waterhouse. The cottages feature stone-dressed brick on the lower storey and oak framing on the upper storeys and gables, topped with red tile roofs and ornate red brick chimneys. The two-bay cottages include No. 1, which has three storeys, while Nos. 2 to 4 have two storeys. The stone-dressed windows have shaped reveals, mullions, and patterned leaded glazing. Each cottage has projecting gabled porches with sandstone plinths, turned posts, and arched trusses for Nos. 1 to 3, while No. 4 has a bracketed pentice porch on the right. The front doors are oak with nine panels and glazed top sections. The interiors have not been inspected.
