Description

Haslington Villa is an early 19th-century former farmhouse, now a dwelling, situated on Hassall Road in Haslington. The building is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a tile roof. It has two storeys and an attic, presenting a three-bay facade to the garden. Later 19th-century octagonal bays with sash windows flank a slightly projecting central bay. This central bay features a fully glazed front door with a radial bar fanlight, stone moulded springers, and a keystone adorned with a leaf motif. The first floor has recessed sash windows with stone sills and skewback heads. An eaves fascia incorporates a moulded cast iron gutter, and there are gable end stacks. The east-facing return has two bays with recessed sash windows, some of which have glazing bars.
