Description

The bridge over the moat to Chorley Old Hall is likely from the 16th century, with some later repairs and rebuilding. It is constructed of buff sandstone ashlar. The bridge features two semi-circular headed arches that spring from low piers. There is a low parapet with a flat coping, and the roadway is made of concrete.
