Description

The churchyard cross in Nether Alderley is a medieval structure made of buff sandstone. The base is square at the bottom and transitions to an octagonal shape above. It features a chamfered rectangular shaft that has been truncated and shows the setting for a sundial, which is now missing. On the east face of the shaft, the letter B is carved.
