Description

1-5 Bridge Street is a mid-19th century building. It is constructed of engraved stucco, rising to three storeys and featuring six casement windows. These windows generally have glazing bars and are set within moulded architraves; four have arched pediments, and two have triangular pediments, all supported by consoles. A wooden cornice runs along the top, above which is a parapet that rises centrally to form a pedimental feature. An arched passageway is located on the left-hand side. Modern shop fronts have been introduced, and the building retains group value.
