Description

Mill Lodge is an early 17th-century farm building, later converted into a dwelling, with 20th-century alterations. The building is timber framed with brick nogging, featuring small framing, and has a weather-boarded gable apex and a tiled roof. It extends for 15 frame panels in length, with a brick extension to the north. A single-storey section with an attic is located at the north end. Full timber framing is visible on the south gable and the rear (west) elevation. The front facade is brickwork with large, modern windows. A central chimney stack is present. The interior south section reveals strutted trusses and exposed purlins.
