Description

4A Church Lane is an early 19th-century building constructed of painted brick. It has two storeys and features three windows, two of which are modern, along with a multi-paned iron casement. The entrance is marked by two simple wooden pilaster doorcases, each topped with small hoods. The roof is tiled. The southern part of the building rises to three storeys and is plastered, with one window on each floor. The ground floor includes a small shop, while the first floor has a sash window and the top floor features a sliding casement. This building is part of the original structure now known as No 9 Hospital Street.
