The clock located at the south-west corner of the junction with Station Road in Wallsend was built in the late 19th century for Swan and Hunter. It is made of painted cast iron and features a fluted column topped with a Gothic-style capital. The clock has four faces and is set beneath a cornice adorned with cartouches. Additionally, there is decorative disc detailing on the pendants and finials of the corner pilasters, as well as on the raised ogee coping.
