Description
East Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone, some of which is mottled pink, and features quoins. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has corniced brick chimneys at each end. The building is two storeys tall and has three windows, along with a one-storey-and-attic, one-bay extension on the right side.
The central door has been renewed, and there are splayed lintels above the door and the window to the right, while the other windows have flat stone lintels without sills. All the windows are renewed sashes of 19th-century style. The right extension features a pecked stone lintel and a projecting stone sill. Above, there is a gabled dormer that breaks the eaves, and the roof is hipped on the right side.
