Description
Nos 4 and 5 on The Green are mid-18th century buildings. No 4 features a lower one-window wing that extends over the coach entrance at the rear of No 5. No 5 is two storeys high with three windows and is constructed of brick, featuring brick flat arches. The building has a cast iron gutter and a pantile roof with two brick chimneys. Both buildings have flush moulded frames around their plain sash windows, with No 4 retaining its glazing bars. No 5 has a central doorcase adorned with pilaster strips, panelled reveals, a metal hood, and a half-glazed door with a rectangular light above. On either side of the doorway, there are three-light bays with cornices. Additionally, No 4 has a segmental coach arch with double doors below.
