Description
The Green contains two late 18th-century buildings, Nos. 70 and 71, situated facing the Cross Dike, which is the village pond. No. 70 is rendered and has stone quoins, casement windows, and a plain pilastered doorcase. No. 71, formerly a public house, is roughcast and features two-storey bows flanking a central, late, pedimented doorcase with a rectangular fanlight and projecting light holders. Casement windows are present throughout. The buildings are roofed with pantiles, demonstrating raised verges, and have three brick chimneys.
