Description
This is a pair of marker stones located 2 meters south of Scugdale Farmhouse. They date from the late 18th century to early 19th century and are positioned on either side of the entrance to the garden of the farmhouse. The stones are made of dressed sandstone and feature semi-circular heads. Each stone measures approximately 30 centimeters in height, 35 centimeters in width, and 17 centimeters in depth. Both stones are inscribed with the words "Tithe Free No. XX."
