Description
The bridge located approximately 70 meters south-west of Ormesby House dates from the late 18th century and was widened on the east side around 1900. It is constructed of vertically-tooled sandstone ashlar. The west face features a chamfered plinth and a low segment-headed opening with chamfered rusticated voussoirs, all under a continuous hoodmould. There is a band below the parapet with roll-moulded copings, and the parapet itself ends in plain piers. The east face is concealed by an extension that has a plain low flat-arched opening.
