Description
East Woodfoot Farmhouse is a house built around 1840. It is constructed from squared tooled stone with cut quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a symmetrical design with tall, narrow proportions. Notable architectural details include a chamfered plinth, a first-floor string course, and a moulded eaves cornice supported by block corbels. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a plain overlight, set within a moulded stone surround. The windows are 12-pane sash types. The gables are coped and feature stepped and corniced end stacks. The rear elevation includes a 12-pane sash stair window above two single-storey gabled wings, which have 12-pane sash windows and a 9-pane casement window situated between them.
