Description

The ha-ha and retaining wall, located approximately 40 yards south of Roddam Hall, date from the 18th century. They are constructed from roughly dressed stone and feature a gate that is breached by steps leading down from the garden. The structure includes rusticated gate piers with caps, and there are two pairs of similar piers that articulate the wall on both the left and right sides.
