Description
These farm buildings, located about 10 yards east of Pennywells, date from around 1830 to 1840. They are constructed from dressed stone with ashlar dressings and feature roofs made of Welsh slate and asbestos. The buildings form three ranges around a courtyard.
On the left, there are single-storey shelter sheds that have three segmental arches. In the center, there is a byre and stable that includes two doors and one window. To the right, there is a two-storey shelter shed with a granary above, which features two segmental arches and two first-floor window openings with chamfered surrounds. Additionally, there is a Victorian-era wall letter box attached to the range on the left.
