Description

This is an early 19th-century building on Hide Hill, comprising numbers 14 to 20. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a pantiled roof, and features old brick chimneys topped with scroll finials. The building is three storeys high. It includes two shop fronts dating from the 19th century, characterized by fluted pilasters and dentilled cornices. Five 12-paned sash windows are present on each of the upper floors, set within plain stone frames. Numbers 2 to 36 (even) and numbers 44 to 54 (even) form a group.
