Description

The Vicarage is an 18th-century house located on Dial Place in Warkworth. It is constructed of squared stone with cut dressings and features a 20th-century pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a central top-glazed door. The plain sash windows have short upper leaves and slightly projecting sills, and all openings are framed with block surrounds. The gable copings are raised and reverse-stepped, and the end stacks are banded, with the left stack rebuilt in the 20th century.

Inside, the doors are mostly made of four fielded panels with H hinges, and there is one two-panel door. The staircase has a closed string with stick balusters.

The Vicarage is included for its group value, although the rear wing and extension have been altered and are not of special interest.
