Description

No. 16 Dial Place is a house that was formerly the service wing of a vicarage. It likely dates from the 18th century and was altered around 1820. The building is constructed of squared stone, except for a rubble return, and features a purple slate roof with a yellow brick chimney stack. It has two storeys and two narrow bays. The original door in the right bay is now blocked, with a small window above it, while the left bay has 12-pane sash windows. The left gable is coped, and there is a stack at the left end. The rear elevation shows a renewed door on the ground floor, with two 12-pane sash windows above and a 20th-century roof dormer. This building is included for its group value.
