Description
The roadside wall and gatepiers to the east of the Roman Catholic Presbytery were likely built around 1811. They are constructed from squared, roughly-tooled stone with cut dressings, while the gatepiers are made from tooled-and-margined stone. The tall section of the wall features flat coping that ramps down to connect with the rusticated gatepiers, which have swept moulded caps. To the right, a short length of similar wall connects to the north wing of the Presbytery. To the left, a similar but lower wall slopes down to join an outbuilding, which is not of special interest.
