Description
The Toby Jug Restaurant, formerly known as Crewe Cottage, is a building that dates from the early 19th century. It was originally a house and is now part of The Lord Crewe Arms. The structure is constructed of random whinstone with sandstone ashlar quoins and alternating-block surrounds, topped with a Welsh slate roof. It stands two stories high and features three bays. The central entrance has a 20th-century door, and there are 12-pane sash windows. The gabled roof has flat coping and banded end stacks. Notably, there is a Gothick window on the left return that has intersecting glazing bars.
