Description
The Villa is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, constructed of ashlar stone with a plinth and a Welsh slate roof. The building is square in shape and features a later 19th-century wing at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance includes a pedimented porch supported by pilasters, leading to a six-panel door. The ground floor is adorned with full-length 12-pane margined sash windows, while the first floor has smaller 6-pane margined sash windows. The roof is hipped with widely projecting eaves and is topped by a large rendered ridge stack. To the left, there is a single-storey, two-bay wing that has renewed 12-pane margined sash windows. Inside, the house retains shutters, six-panel doors, contemporary fireplaces, friezes, and a staircase.
