Description

Middle Farmhouse is a house dating to 1826. The initials "I K" (John Kitchen) are inscribed in an oval panel on the door lintel. The house is constructed of squared, roughly-tooled stone with tooled quoins and dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with one brick stack. It is two storeys high with three irregular bays. The right-of-centre doorway has been renewed, with a plain overlight. It features twelve-pane sash windows with slightly-projecting sills, all set within alternating-block surrounds. Coped gables and stepped end stacks are present, the left-hand stack having been rebuilt. The right return elevation shows two similar sash windows.
