Description
The farm buildings attached to the north-east corner of Wooley Farmhouse date from the late 16th century or early 17th century and have been altered over time. They are constructed of rubble with large, roughly-shaped quoins and stone dressings, topped with a 20th-century asbestos roof.
The elevation facing the former courtyard on the south side features two blocked doorways with chamfered surrounds and flattened triangular heads. The left doorway is set within a square frame and has a 20th-century window inserted into the blocking, along with a defaced lintel inscription. The right doorway has a monolithic lintel. The right return side includes a 20th-century ground floor window and a blocked first floor loop. The rear elevation has been altered and includes one door with chamfered jambs and a later head. There is a later extension to the left that is not of interest.
