Description
Greatham House and its left extension is a terraced house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a late 20th-century interlocking pantile roof, brick gable coping, and end stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a double span, with the rear span being older. The front facade has three bays, with the central bay containing a doorway that has a six-panelled door, an overlight, and a simple pilaster-and-entablature surround. There are two late 19th-century square bay windows with sash windows on the ground floor. The first floor features late 19th-century sash windows with painted sills, brick flat arches, and keystones. A brick string course runs between the floors, and there is a stepped brick cornice at the eaves. To the left is a slightly later and lower two-storey extension with a hipped roof. This extension has a boarded door to the right, a late 19th-century sash window above, and a first-floor sash window with glazing bars and a painted sill to the left. There is also a single-storey pent outhouse attached to the left side of the extension.
