Description

The gin gang located to the north-east of No. 35, Escomb Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is constructed of rubble with some quoins and features brick repairs. The structure has six piers, which are square or rectangular in shape, with the south-west pier completely renewed in brick. These piers support timber beams that hold up a low-pitched polygonal roof covered with pantiles and red ridge tiles. Inside, there are cross beams made of large scantling. The adjacent barn, which was part of the original listing, has been demolished.
