Description
The stable block of the former vicarage, now used as a garage, was built around 1863 by S.S. Teulon for Rev. Daniel Capper. It is constructed from coursed, squared sandstone of irregular sizes, featuring ashlar and brick dressings, and has a dark slate roof. The building is single storey and consists of three bays, with the central bay being cross-gabled and containing a loft. There are segmental-headed arches over double boarded vehicle doors on the left, a boarded door to the left of center, and two windows on the right. The outer bays have low-pitched pent roofs, while the steeply-pitched central gable peak features a boarded corbelled loft door beneath paired two-centred-arched vents, which have patterned brick dressings. The roof has a slightly raised section at the center of the ridge.
