Description

Hillingdon Farmhouse is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone, with limewashed returns and a rear section, and features sandstone dressings, a plinth, and quoins. The roof is stone-flagged and has stone gable copings. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a filleted boarded door with an overlight, all set within a tooled stone surround. The late 19th-century sash windows also have similar stone surrounds. On the rear elevation, the windows have pecked stone surrounds, and there is a central one-storey, one-bay pent porch. The farmhouse is topped with banded end chimneys that mostly have octagonal glazed pots.
