Description

The gate piers and gates located to the west of the Church of St. Philip and St. James were built around 1869 by C. Hodgson Fowler. They are made of sandstone ashlar and feature wrought iron gates. There are three square piers topped with overhanging pyramidal coping. The vehicle gate has a spike head, and there is a similarly styled round-plan pedestrian stile and gate.
