This is a township road marker stone, likely from the 18th century, located about 50 metres east of Moss Mire. It is made of sandstone and stands approximately 0.5 metres high, featuring a rectangular shape with an arched top. The north side is inscribed with the words 'Marwood Township', using a long 's'. On the south side, there is an Ordnance Survey bench mark.
