Description

The Davison tomb, located adjacent to the east wall of the south side of the nave of the Church of St. Margaret, is a table tomb dating from around 1811. It commemorates Morton John Davison of Beamish Park, who died in 1811, along with members of his family who passed away up to 1885. The tomb features a high moulded slab supported by six balusters and includes a well-cut inscription.
