Description
Fernlea is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof adorned with yellow ridge tiles and stone gable copings. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a five-panel door set within a plain stone surround, topped by a moulded hood supported by stone brackets. The outer bays contain renewed 12-pane sash windows, which are fitted with wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills. The roof is equipped with end chimneys, with the right chimney being banded and the left one having been renewed.
