Description
The Old Laundry at Llanharan House is a Grade II listed building consisting of two adjoining wings that are two storeys high, constructed of rubble stone with slate roofs. The south-facing, taller eastern wing features flat-headed windows on the upper storey, along with a window on the lower right and a doorway on the lower left, both of which have segmental heads and have been renewed in earlier openings. To the left, there is a gable stack that rises above the western wing, rebuilt in snecked stone. The lower western wing has segmental openings on the lower storey and windows beneath the wall plate above, all renewed in earlier openings. The western gable end, which faces the main house, includes a bellcote made of coursed dressed stone, topped with a ball finial. In the gable, there is a round clock face set in a square wooden frame above a blocked former doorway that has an elliptical arch, wide enough for a carriage. The building has not been inspected.
