Description
9-22 Moira Terrace is a late 19th-century terrace built for commercial use with living accommodation above. The building is three storeys high and is constructed of roughcast render and red brick. The upper floors have predominantly sash windows. The roofs are slate covered, and there are brick chimneys. There are a total of 23 windows at the top floor level. The central part of the terrace features a group of seven windows within moulded architraves; the central window is paired. To either side of this central group are further groups of seven windows, each set within elliptical arches and alternating between sash and square windows. The ends of the terrace each have two windows arranged similarly to the central section. The first floor has alternating sash windows and square oriel bay windows supported by iron brackets, all with sash glazing. The ground floor has shopfronts, with those on the left side featuring tripartite mullioned windows.
