Description

Cliff Cottage is a building made of stone rubble with some dressed stone details, and it has a pebble-dashed west side. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there are pebble-dashed end stacks. The layout includes a house on the left and an attached cottage on the front right, with a rear wing on the left that creates a double pile structure.

The front elevation on the left is two stories high and has three bays, featuring 6/6 pane sash windows with cambered arched voussoirs that were rendered later, along with sills. The ground floor has similar windows on either side of the front doorway, which has a pitched hood that has been remodeled. There was a former segmental arched carriage entrance on the right that has been blocked and replaced with a matching window.

To the right, there is a higher two-bay cottage with full dormers, also featuring 6/6 pane sash windows with timber lintels and stone sills, along with a small 4-pane window under the eaves. The ground floor windows have cambered arched voussoirs, and there is a rough plinth. The side elevation on the right has been remodeled and includes a doorway under a cambered brick arch. The rear of the building has some similar windows and a doorway, and it has been substantially extended in the 20th century.

The property is bordered by a stone wall that features an iron lamp arch and a decorative wrought iron gate at the front. The interior has been converted for community use.
