Description

The Ivy Tower is a round tower constructed from rubble sandstone, featuring putlog holes and an embattled parapet, although part of the parapet has fallen. On the eastern side, which is downhill, there are remains of the flue from the arsenic and copper works, consisting of rubble stone walls that lead to an opening with a rubble stone arch. The northern side has an inserted round-headed doorway with limestone dressings, although the right jamb is partly missing. A narrow round-headed window has been added to the parapet on the southern side. Inside, there are added stone steps that lead to a wall walk.
