Description
Nos 11 and 12 Bridge Street are a pair of houses dating from the 18th century. They feature an exposed stone front that is three storeys high and has four bays, with windows that have 4-pane sashes. The stone is composed of different shades of pink and grey, arranged in regular courses, and there are stone quoins at the corners. The houses have a slate roof with cresting. The window and door openings are framed with dressed stone, with square window openings on the second floor that have heads at eaves level. The first and ground floor window openings have slightly cambered heads. The sash windows include glazing bars. On the ground floor, the doorways are located in the inner bays and have pointed heads, featuring six-fielded panelled doors and triangular overlights above.
