Description

The limekiln is an earthwork mound featuring two draw hole vaults that face the canal. The draw hole vaults are constructed of stone, although the facing wall has not survived. Each vault has round arched entrances with voussoirs. At the rear of the vaults, there are brick walls that contain draw-eyes. In front of the kiln, there is a small, overgrown wharf that appears to be associated with the structure.
