Description
Grahame Amey Antiques is a group of simple classical buildings from the mid to late 19th century, not shown on the 1840 Tithe Map. They are two stories tall with two-window fronts finished in pebbledash. The central bays of Nos 2 and 3 are advanced, featuring end pilaster strips, a cill band, and a plinth. The buildings have a slate roof that is hipped around the corner, with boxed eaves and three brick chimney stacks. Most of the windows are 12-pane sash windows. The entrances are sunk arched with impost bands, and Nos 2 and 3 have recessed panelled doors. No 1 has a multi-paned shop front that wraps around a splayed and rendered corner, continuing the similar treatment along the four-window Tower Street southwest frontage.
