Description

Pont Antwn is a double-carriageway single-span bridge constructed from rubble stone. It is set into a steep bank on the northwest side and features a long approach on the southeast. The bridge has a segmental arch made of cut voussoirs, with a projecting keystone on the later northeast (upstream) side. Although the parapet has been rebuilt, it still holds its original stone plaque that reads, "This bridge was erected at the expense of the county by Tho Richards Mason Llandevilog 1785."
