Description

The Ball Court is a mid-19th century building that is not present on the 1834 survey map but is listed on the 1842 Tithe Map as a storehouse. It is a ruined, four-storey, five-bay structure made of rubble and has long been disused. The right-hand bay is advanced and gabled, and it formerly had a lower pitched roof extension at the front, as indicated on modern Ordnance Survey maps. The building features brick voussoir lintels above square-headed openings. It is a prominent structure in the general views of the Laugharne foreshore.
