Description

This is a terrace of eight houses, now reduced to six. The houses were constructed of rubble stone with slate roofs and feature seven corniced stone stacks. They are two storeys high and originally had a 20-window facade. The terrace is characterised by two double-fronted houses at each end and a central section of four single-window houses, which have since been combined into two properties, numbered 3 and 5. The windows, originally small-paned sashes and probably with boarded doors, now mostly comprise horned 4-pane sashes dating to around 1900, and all have stone voussoirs and sills, with matching voussoirs above the doors. A rear outshut is present. A cobbled path runs along the front. One former mirrored cottage displayed a window, door, door, and window arrangement, with one door now blocked. All windows and doors have been replaced with plastic in the 20th century.
