Description
The Lloyd family mausoleum is a low rectangular structure located in the churchyard of Llanllwni, built into a shallow bank that rises toward the east side. It is constructed of rock-faced stone, featuring an iron door on the west side, which is set beneath a segmental stone lintel. Above the door, in the center, there is a tomb chest topped with a stepped freestone saddleback capstone. On the south side of the mausoleum, there is a marble inscription panel dedicated to the Reverend Charles Lloyd, who died in 1867, and his wife Frances, who passed away in 1888. The east side features a panel with a memorial inscription for their grandson Charles, who died as an infant in 1877. The north side has a blank panel. The structure is topped with iron railings.
